Park City SUP's paddle clinics are back by popular demand! These clinics were a huge hit last summer.
The clinics cover basic SUP 101 info and work right up to tail turns and stroke refinement.
We keep these clinics small enough thtat we can really work with each paddler and give the individual the feedback they need.
These camps are taught by a World Paddle Association Certified Instructor.
Paddle Clinic Cost: $55.00
Includes option of PC SUP board, paddle and pfd (personal floatation device)
Space is limited, register now!
Kid's Camps are $175 per child and includes board, paddle and life jacket rental if the child doesn't have their own vest.
Camps run from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm each day of the camp.
Our kids camps have been very popular over the years! We love sharing the sport with young paddlers. In our camps we go over every aspect of the sport. We teach the kids how to attach a leash to the board properly, how fins work and why boards have them, proper paddle technique, differences in paddle and board types and sizes and so much more. We also tandem paddle, have fun races, do yoga and exercises on the boards and most important have fun on the water with our friends!
We recommend packing a light lunch for your child and bringing a water bottle is a must. We have life vests for the children but if your child has their own vest please bring it.
Camp dates for 2016 are as follows:
Camp 1 June 12th-16th
Camp 2 June 19th-23th
Camp 3 June 26th-30th
Registration for each camp is below.
LOCATION: Rock Cliff entrance of the Jordanelle State Park.
The Paddle Pedal Paddle is our version of a Triathlon.
It is 5 miles of standup paddle boarding, followed by 10 miles of mountain biking, finished with 5 miles of standup paddle boarding. By using the mountain bike to exhaust the legs and then ask them to support you on the final stage of the event, we feel that last stage is almost nothing like the first. The typical weather pattern over the last 5 years of running this event has been calm glassy water for stage one and windy choppy water for stage three. This adds to the differences between stage one and three as standup paddling in calm glassy water versus windy choppy water are two very different things. If your planning on soloing the course please plan accordingly. Hydration both on the sup and bike are critical. We also recommend having food available at the transition area to keep your engine fueled.
Completing this course is a victory in itself.
The race can also be divided into two or three person teams to spread around the challenges of the course.
Registration begins at 7:30 AM, race begins and 9:00.
Current course records:
Multi-person team. 2:59
Individual effort. 3:13
$25 for individual.
$35 for 2 person team.
$45 for 3 person team.
